Next Saturday, March 26, Ateliê397 ― an independent art gallery and studio in São Paulo, partner of Dharma/Arte in 2011 ― will inaugurate the exhibit A 4 Graus do Equador [4 Degrees from Equator], with works by fifteen artists: Simone Barreto, Waléria Américo, Enrico Rocha, Vitor César, Clarice Lima, Danilo Carvalho, Ivo Lopes, Solon Ribeiro, Alexandre Veras, Milena Travassos, Yuri Firmeza, Márcio Távora, Mariana Smith, Patrícia Araujo, and Transição Listrado. The graphic design of the exhibit was made by Renan Costa Lima.
With the purpose of “promoting the debate about contemporary art, broadening the outreaching of national artists,” the exhibit presents works only from Ceará, a state in the Brazilian Northeast ― reference explained in the title of the exhibition.
DJs Jackson Araujo, AD Ferrera and Tiago Guiness, and musicians Fernando Catatau (from the band Cidadão Instigado) and Jonnata Doll will perform at the opening, on March 26.
